When I take a photo, I start with what grabbed my eye, then try left & right, then decide what I liked best. Here, it was the fisherman that drew me in (I love taking photos of people all alone), and I felt the water became the dominant feature I moved him left; if you move right, his pole goes out of the shot. Plus, I love the rocks & the moss, and the way the two come together to form a little basin.ProdigalWifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07075744132410379528noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8072762151616364832.post-64360061202469645482009-07-24T16:15:54.729-04:002009-07-24T16:15:54.729-04:00This is my first visit to your blog and I like you...This is my first visit to your blog and I like your photos very much. Congratulations on being Today's Host at Skywatch. Gorgeous shot there.

May I make a suggestion to you that might improve your photos? In framing your subject, you might try putting your strong visual interest slightly to the left or right, not dead center. Your compositions of single subjects might have more dynamism that way. It's just a suggestion, of course, as perhaps you prefer it just the way it is! But if you haven't tried it, check it out.Sara Chapmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09214457461065579296noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8072762151616364832.post-21054350225190666492009-07-23T17:39:02.006-04:002009-07-23T17:39:02.006-04:00Thank you... now, what?
