Skywatch Friday: Land of the Midnight Sun

When I was in Leningrad (once and again St. Petersburg), we had to make sure and rush back to the dorms before the bridges went up to let the boats through. One of my friends didn't quite make it once, and had a rather long wait! Great night skies though.

A fabulous sky over The Admiralty, built in the early nineteenth century in the once and future St. Petersburg (Leningrad when I was there, of course).

Start at the hotel

don't take this taxi

follow the sailors down the river

watch a movie being filmed

do a bit a shopping

quick rest in the park

and end up at the Winter Palace (Hermitage).
