I was asked to take some photos of my husband the soon-to-be-published author for a large poster that will be
displayed in a bookstore (!). So we took a bunch and narrowed it down to these four.
What do you think? Should we go friendly like the top ones (with/without glasses), or more author-y like the lower ones (with / without glasses.
We all have a different favorite, so please help! What do you think? We'd appreciate some input... or should we scrap these and start again?

I like the 2 where he's leaning on his "fist". (top right, and very bottom one) Handsome in all!
I'd read a book written by a gentleman with a perfect vision and a big toothy smile too.
I like #3LR.
Hi and Congratulations on hubby's publication. I like the very first one (leaning on his fist) first r/h side photo. Very cool... I'll pop in and read more as soon as I'm back in North Africa! Blessings Jo (presently in South Africa)
They are all great but the first one would be a nice one to put on the book. Congrats to your hubby. =)
I like the bottom most one!
I'd go w/ the more author-y shot w/ the glasses - Being an author is serious & that photo projects that!
They're all great shots, at any rate!
Thanks everyone for the great compliments and good wishes! Must pop in here more often! We tallied everyone's thoughts and went with #2--toothy smile and great vision!
Wow, this was great! SO pleased we posted these photos--thank you so much for all your great input! Between your comments and those on the prodigal's site, looks like old smiley is the winning shot!
(Now I have to make him practice reading!)
Congratulations on hubby's publication. I like the very first one (leaning on his fist) first r/h side photo. Very cool... Work From Home
The second one is best but not because there's no glasses but it looks most natural and the face is lit up best.
Congrats to your husband! I like #4best (more face) or start over without hand or fist on face?
