Watery Wednesday: Pillars of Hercules

I've always been a great fan of mythology, so I was thrilled to visit the purported "Pillars of Hercules" in Tangiers. The view of the sea was beautiful, but I admit I had a hard time envisioning Hercules pulling this rock down. The top part of the opening is supposed to look like Africa (upside down). What do you think?

Nice photo and a very interesting rock formation.

Hmm, I think it looks like a person in a funny hat, looking to the left, with his mouth open -- laughing, maybe.

That is interesting to see it as Africa. I love seeing it as a window to the see.

Thanks Mick!
Dennis--yes, I see it too! I hope he's laughing, 'cause he looks toothless!
Tammie Lee--window to the sea is perfect.
Brooke--thanks! Not sure I see Africa either, but yes, it was beautiful.
