Scenic Sunday: Klagenfurt

We don't usually take those little river cruises when we travel, but we did in the charming, old, Austrian city of Klagenfurt. I am delighted we did because, as you can see, it was a beautiful trip--definitely scenic in my book!

Great photos! I enjoyed the river cruise with you. I don't think I can choose a favorite shot...they are all beautiful. BTW, I like the different random mug shots...do you collect these...

These are so beautiful.. I just got a shot of a house in Redmond Washington that was probably meant to be a copy of this kind of house, which is very unusual in Washington State.. I will post it one of these days, it is quite lovely like these. Wonderful post, I would love to go on this cruise!

Autumn Belle--thank you. Yes, fairy tale is a good description. We were quite surprised at how beautiful it was--Klagenfurt, while charming, was a little bit dusty if you know what I mean, as though its time was past. But this cruise was really special.
Carol-so pleased you enjoyed the ride! Yes, I do collect the mugs, all cities & countries. I have more than 100 (some were given to me), they line our kitchen and make it quite cheerful. Glad you like them, seemed like a nice complement to travel photos!
Christina & Tricia--thanks, hope I did the cruise justice!
Jan--how wonderful, you must let me know when you post it, I love old buildings (as you can tell!).
