Happy Scenic Sunday!

I did pretty much the same walk myself exactly 17 years ago! It's good to see some of the sights again. I remember issues with taxis... My favourite image is the Russian women on the bench - great shot!

Oh those women on the bench: that image is so local. And WOW the Winter Palace is magnificent. I've never been to this city; thanks for the walk. I came to your blog via Scenic Sunday.

What a fun walk. Much better than trying to ride in the taxi!
I think everyday is World Cat Day at our home, so yesterday was nothing out of the ordinary. : )
Sassie is sitting in her favorite pose in my header. We find her slumped over like that all over the house.

Flying starts--thank you, please drop in again!
Tricia--I have no idea, we weren't able to ask anyone, most likely some Chekhovian story, they did a lot of those.
Janice--how fun! Were you with a tour? I like the bench shot too, thank you.
Jo--thank you--yes, very local, I love that kind of shot. Drop in again!
Pam--so pleased you enjoyed the walk. And yes, everyday is cat day, isn't it?
